2nd Transomania

January 24th – January 31st 2016
This is our latest grand challenge brought to you by Raid Sahara Organisation. It takes place in the country where we’ve already organized 8 events and we are well familiar with the terrain. This time we will make the “coast to coast” raid – passing through the mountains elevating above the Indian Ocean.
We will start the race from the White beach at the northern coast and finish it off at the west coast on the still wild fishermen’s and turtles’ beach.
Distances
You can choose among three different lengths on the same track:
- 285 km Non stop in max. 100 hours
- 200 km Non stop in 75 hours
- 130 km Non stop in 50 hours
Landscapes
We will pass through three different types of landscape:
- 80 km of mountains
- 60 km of canyons
- 145 km of sand dunes and wadis (track through the desert)
